The Enugu state house of assembly has began scrutinizing accounts belonging to the state government for the year ended Tuesday, December 31, 2013 along with financial statements of the auditor-general of the state.
Vanguard reports that the auditor-general had previously presented the financial report of the state government to the house which was presented to the house’s committee on public account for further investigation on Thursday, October 9, 2014.
The committee was given three weeks to work on the auditor-general’s report and revert to the house for further action.
