Female ‘Suicide Bomber’ Arrested In Kano, Says ‘I Am Ready To Die’

A fake female suicide bomber has been arrested by the Kano State police command on Monday, November 24, 2014 after a bomb scare.

Vanguard reports that an eye witness availed  that the incident happened around 12 noon, when the middle aged woman began approaching the Kwali Police Division station garbed in Burqa (veil) and refused to stop for scrutiny.

The woman’s behavior attracted the attention of several armed personnel, who mobilized and surrounded the strange woman who said: “I am ready to die. But mark you, there are two others at large in the city.”An unnamed security source stated thus: “We acted fast and got her sleeping with a substance fired at her. To our surprise, the woman had covered herself with used pomade containers and sundry harmless objects.”

The source added that: “Preliminary investigation revealed that the strange women is mentally deranged, but would be confirmed by expert”

The Kano State Police Spokeperson, ASP Magaji Majia when contacted over the incident said via a text message: “I am sorry, I am out of the country.”
