There was a stir on popular social media platform, Twitter on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 after a photograph surfaced, purportedly showing a crowd of All Progressive Congress (APC) supporters in Kano.
The image was tweeted on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 by the APC vice presidential candidate, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo with the comment, “Nothing but awe for the people of Kano. A sight like this truly humbles us. Thank you.”
Only for the facts to emerge later that the photo, which shows a huge crowd, was from Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s crusade in Ogbomosho. Blogger Blossom Nnodim busted the bubble for the APC when she revealed that the photo was taken from Bonnke’s website. Prompting, a confirmation from General Buhari’s campaign.

The crowd in & outside the stadium and towards the Emir's palace is mind blowing. But this image is not from Kano: pic.twitter.com/SZMyti04qF
