Nigeria athlete, Esther Oyema has broken a world record in powerlifting in the ongoing 11th All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville with a lift of 133 kg on Wednesday, September 16, 2015
She broke a world record previously in a class of 55kg was 126kg. She won gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games where she also broke a world record.
Oyema’s victory takes Nigeria’s medal count in the games to four gold medals.
