Google Set To Stop Internet Pornography

Must read

For those who rely on popular search engine, google for pornographic content, your search might as well end soon as the multi-billion dollar establishment might soon remove pornographic advertisements and even websites from its database.

The decision, seen as bold and even risky for business, was reached following series of complains and moreover google has always had a stance against pornography since it negates their corporate policy.

In a statement issued by website, PornHarms.com, they claim “Google recently sent a mail to their advertisers – particularly pornography and other adult themed websites – that they will be implementing their new advertising policy which eliminates pornography and sexually explicit ads. In addition, it seems google will no longer link to sites that contain such material, no matter how benign their advertising”.

Is this good or bad news? Depends on which side of the fence you are.
