Islamic State (ISIS) soldiers have executed 13 teenage boys by firing squad for watching a football match between Iraq and Jordan last week.
Daily Mail reports that the boys were caught watching the Asian Football Championship match on television in Al-Yarmouk district of the city of Mosul, which is under the control of the terror group.
The boys were publicly executed with their bodies lying in the streets as their parents couldn’t take them for fear of the ISIS militants.
The victims’ crime: “breaking religious laws by watching football” was read out via loudspeaker before they were summarily executed.
