While sourthern Nigeria protest for the disbandment of SARS/SWAT, northern Nigeria march in support of the tactical units of the Nigerian Police Force.
The #EndSARS protest began in Lagos last week and spread to Ogun, Oyo, Rivers, Edo, Delta, Cross River and Akwa Ibom.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT has witnessed both #EndSARS and Pro-SARS rallies.
Pro SARS/SWAT rally held in Kano state on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 as residents turned out en masse in support of the recently disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad and the newly formed Special Weapons and Tactics.
The residents marched to the Government House to deliver a letter of support for both tactical teams.
The state governor, Umar Ganduje, received the letter and promised to deliver it to President Muhammadu Buhari.
