Reports have emerged that former NBA player and Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband, Lamar Odom also caught a pneumonia which has contributed to the terrible state of his lungs.
According to People.com, the pneumonia bout further damaged Lamar’s organs which had suffered as a result of the 35-year-old’s overdose on substances suspected to be hard drugs at a Nevada brothel.
Lamar is said to still be undergoing dialysis as he is still too weak for a transplant.
“The pneumonia was a huge setback, and now there’s worry about permanent scarring of the lungs.
“His kidneys are still not functioning correctly, but he’s nowhere near strong enough to even think of a transplant, so he’s on dialysis,” a source told People.com
The former Los Angeles Lakers player was treated at the Sunrise hospital in Las Vegas for six days before being transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last week.
