NAN – The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) says cloudy conditions will be experienced on Sunday, with chances of localised thunderstorms over eastern highlands in the morning.
This is according to a report issued on Saturday in Abuja by NiMet Central Forecast Office (CFO) as the weather outlook for Sunday, May 4.
“The central states will also experience prospects of localised thunderstorms over the western parts in the afternoon and evening.
“The northern states will experience partly cloudy conditions with slim chances of localised thundery activities over Potiskum axis in the morning.
“The southern coastal areas will experience cloudy conditions with prospect of localised rain over the western coast in the morning,’’ the report says.
It says also that thunderstorms are expected over the east coast of south in the afternoon and evening, while the inland areas will experience cloudy conditions in the morning.
“There are also chances of localised thunderstorms over the entire inland in the afternoon and evening,” report says.
