Ned Nwoko Says He Will Not Reconcile With Regina Daniels

Must read

ABUJA, Nigeria — Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, has said he has no intention of reconciling with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, alleging that she has been “under the influence of hard drugs” and insisting she must undergo therapy.

In a detailed statement released on social media, Nwoko said his relationship with Daniels had deteriorated due to what he described as violent and irrational episodes.

He said he had not communicated with her since October and shared a WhatsApp message dated Friday, October 17, 2025, which he described as his final ultimatum urging her to seek professional help.

“Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,” the statement said.

The lawmaker dismissed Daniels’s recent accusations — including claims of drug use and sexual misconduct — as “unsubstantiated” and fabricated. He insisted the allegations were a result of what he believes is her altered mental state.

“It is important to state that Regina continues to be completely under the influence of hard drugs and whatever she says is a lie from the pit of hell. For example, the allegations of drugs and sex are a figment of her wild imagination and can never be substantiated,” he said.

Nwoko did not specify the incidents he considered violent or irrational, nor did he clarify whether his claims were supported by medical assessments.

Daniels has not issued a formal public response to his latest statement.

The couple, whose marriage has been the subject of public scrutiny since its inception, has faced increasing speculation over the past months about the state of their relationship.

Nwoko’s statement confirms a widening rift and suggests no immediate prospect of reconciliation.

The senator maintained that his priority is her rehabilitation rather than a resumption of their marital relationship, saying the situation requires “professional intervention” for her well-being.
