Odumeje Declares No One Will See His Corpse After Death

Must read

ONITSHA, Nigeria — Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has drawn fresh controversy with a startling prophecy about his own death, declaring that when he dies, his body will never be found.

The cleric, who leads the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, made the comments during a recent church service in Anambra State.

In a video of the service, which has since gone viral, Odumeje described himself as the “strongest spiritual man in the world after TB Joshua,” the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations.

“We are not many, we are just two,” he told congregants.

“One has done his job, and when I die, no one will see my corpse. I do not have much time here. Our mission here is to clear the doubt of Jesus Christ — one mission, one God and one power.”

Nicknamed “The Indaboski Bahose,” Odumeje has built a following through a blend of flamboyant preaching, theatrical deliverance sessions, and bold declarations of supernatural power.

His ministry has long been associated with viral moments, from acting out physical “fights” with demons to making dramatic spiritual claims.

His latest prophecy has provoked a wave of debate across social media, with some Nigerians dismissing it as spectacle and others treating it as a sign of his spiritual authority.

For Odumeje, longevity, he said, is not the point.

“Our work is to clear doubts. There is only one God, one power, and that power is Jesus Christ,” he declared.

Whether seen as a prophet or a performer, Odumeje’s influence in Nigeria’s religious landscape continues to rest on his ability to merge faith with drama — and to captivate audiences with pronouncements that blur the line between revelation and theatrics.
