ISTANBUL, Türkiye — Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen says he will announce his next career move within a week, following an electrifying season with Galatasaray, where he netted 37 goals and provided seven assists across all competitions.
Speaking to Turkish news outlet Takvim, Osimhen confirmed he has communicated with Galatasaray’s management and will reveal his final decision shortly.
“I will make my final decision regarding my transfer within a week,” he said.
“It will be a very difficult decision for me.”
The 2023 African Footballer of the Year spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, where he played a pivotal role in the club’s triumph in the Turkish Super Lig under manager Okan Buruk.
