The 2014 World Cup opening held at Arena de Sao Paulo, Brazil’s biggest city and business capital, on Thursday, June 13, 201 4 .
The Trent brings you photographs of the opening ceremony which had Jennifer Lopez perform the official Fifa World Cup song, ‘We Are One’ alongside Pitbull and Brazilian pop star Claudia Leitte.
The opening ceremony, which lasted for 20 minutes, had well crafted costumes of people living inside football and performers dressed as flowers and musical instruments.
