COSTA RICA — Kelly Rowland and Tim Weatherspoon married in a private coastal ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2014. The wedding followed a relationship of about four years.
The couple exchanged vows on a small cliffside deck overlooking the ocean.
Photographs showed the platform decorated with roses for the intimate ceremony.
Rowland wore a strapless white wedding gown and a long veil. She carried a colourful bouquet, while Weatherspoon wore a fitted white suit.
Beyoncé and her younger sister, Solange Knowles, were among the guests, according to contemporary reports about the ceremony.
The wedding photographs, which were obtained by RadarOnline.com and distributed by Splash News, showed the couple facing one another during the ceremony and standing together near the flower-covered deck.
Weatherspoon proposed to Rowland in December 2013 while she was in Bulgaria. The couple were speaking over Skype when he asked her to marry him, Rowland said while confirming their engagement.
