The presidential candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Price Kelvin Allagoa, has forfeited his ambition, with he and his party opting to throw the full weight of their support behind incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Allagoa said his decision was hinged on his love for Nigeria and the need for the continuation of the transformation agenda of President Jonathan, which according to him has had considerable divident in all parts of the country.
Speaking via a statement jointly signed by its National Chairman, Alhaji Lawal Adamu and its National Secretary, Razak Eyiowuawi, the PPN said: “We want a Nigeria that is not just about change of personality but the Constitution, thoughts and structures that will develop our great nation.
“We believe Nigeria deserves a new public order. A departure from the old militarised mind to a civil thought and social values. We believe we need continuous reorganization and restructuring and opening of hidden potentials.”
