President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday, May 19, 2014 met with military chiefs and heads of security agencies on matters concerning international cooperation and the defensive of terrorism.
The meeting which held at the Presidential Villa, was convened to review the recent multinational cooperation between Nigerian security services and those of the United States, Britain, France, Israel and China towards tackling the Boko Haram insurgency.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh; Chief of Army Staff, Kenneth Minimah; Chief of Naval Staff, Usman Jibrin; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Ademola Amosu, the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Abubakar, and the Director General of Department of State Services, Ita Ekpeyong, were all in attendance at the meeting.
As common with security meetings, those in attendance kept sealed lips at the end of the meeting.
