I Am Ready For El-Classico – Luiz Suarez

Must read

Luis Suarez is set to return fully to the pitch as he has declared that he is ready for the El- Classico on Saturday, October 25, 2014 after his four-month biting ban, when Barcelona shall be facing their all-time rival, Real Madrid.

The Uruguay striker, who was signed from Liverpool, has had to watch Barcelona’s matches from the spectator’s stands as his team mates have started the season ahead of him, owing to his suspension for biting an opponent during a World Cup match.

Speaking with SportMoleOnline, Barcelona director Andoni Zubizaretta stated that the team hope that Barcelona’s coach, Luis Enrique will be able to have all the players available.

“Up until now without him we have started the season well. Knowing the player I think that he will be ready for the Bernabeu,” he said.

“Suarez knows what stage he is at and the situation ahead of him. He will be an important player for us,the fans should be calm, the player realises what he did wrong and internally we have worked together.”

“It is amazing everything that Suarez can do on the pitch: his passes, his runs and his goals. We understand each other better all the time and I am confident that we can develop it further to help Barcelona,” he added.

The only matches Suarez has played have been friendly games arranged by Barcelona and two for Uruguay.

He played against Saudi Arabia on Friday October 10, 2014 and scored twice in a 3-0 win over Oman on Monday October 13, 2014.
