SO SAD: Popular Journalist Dies Of Injuries Sustained From Generator Explosion (PICTURED)

He died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), after suffering severe burns from a generator that exploded in his house on Saturday, February 14, 2015.

The Delta born journalist was rushed to two hospitals who rejected him before he was finally admitted at LUTH where he died as a result of cardiac arrest.

According to sources, he was first rejected by doctors at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital who advised that he should be taken to Igbobi Orthopaedic Hospital, Lagos.

The late Eriye was a former editor of the City People Magazine and News of the People magazine.
