Ecclesiastes 5:9 NKJV “Moreover the profit of the land is for all; even the king is served from the field.”
A recent report by Oxfam International states that almost half of the world’s wealth is owned by just one percent of the population. It also states that, “The wealth of the one percent richest people in the world amounts to 65 times the total wealth of the bottom half of the world’s population. In other words, the bottom half of the world’s population owns the same as the richest 85 people in the world.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m worried that just 85 people have wealth equal to what 3.5 billion people own. More worrisome is the fact that one percent of the richest people in the world are 65 times richer than 3.5 billion people combined! I’m not against them, instead I’m saying that you can, and should enjoy same privileges because it’s your God given right!
If the Bible says that the profit of the land is for all, then it’s for all, including me! And you too! It’s time to have your own share! Enough of begging and borrowing; enough of never having enough; the time has come for you to be liberated from debt and from forced labour, that is, work that you don’t enjoy doing. So shall it be, according to my word, in the name of Jesus!
