According to a report by Thisday the All Progressives Congress (APC) has admitted former vice-president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar former lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former military head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari as members of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT).
Asides Tinubu, Atiku and Buhari, other stalwarts of the party who made the cut include Bisi Akande, Audu Ogbeh, Tony Momoh, Kawo Baraje, former Bayelsa state governor Timipre Silva, Tom Ikimi, Alhaji Gambo Magaji, Aminu Bello Masari and former Abia state governor, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.
According to the report, automatic slots were given to all present and past governors as well as the minority Leaders of the two chambers of the National Assembly, Senator George Akume and Hon. Femi Gbajamila also made the list who also make up the over 74-man board.
