The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has announced the recapture of Kukawa Geri and Gubja towns in Yobe State, which was previously occupied by Boko Haram insurgents.
Making the announcement via its official Twitter handle on Monday, March 2, 2015 the Nigerian military said the operation took place on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
