A massive explosion rocked the Government House in Gombe State on Thursday afternoon, June 5, 2014.
According to reports, the explosion was that of a bomb blast which was heard all over the city.
The military, police and fire department have arrived the scene to handle the chaos and impact of the blast.
A top official of the State government who spoke to the press this evening on condition of anonymity said that the blast was an accidental discharge from a military rocket launcher around the government house.
According to him, the authorities are investigating the incident.
There has been no reports of casualties.
