The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital(UCTH), Dr. Thomas Agan has unveiled the Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and Management Requirements (MR) of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) which was delivered to the hospital recently.
Agan while unveiling the facilities designed to fight the Ebola scourge said as far back as April this year, before the EVD was brought into Nigeria, the UCTH had staged a seminar to enlighten the hospital community of the disease and how it can be prevented and controlled.
Agan who stated this in Calabar Friday said: “we have taken delivery of all Personal Protective Equipment and Management Requirements”.
