#EkitiGate: ‘They cannot go to Agbo Jedi sector’ – Fayose Issues Epic Response [WATCH]

Must read

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State has lampooned Tope Aluko, a former People Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain who made headlines on Sunday, January 31, 2016 after he appeared on Channels TV, claiming that former President Goodluck Jonathan and Governor Fayose rigged the 2014 governorship election held in the state.

In a video by CoreTv News, Governor Fayose while addressing newsmen questioned the motive behind Aluko’s outburst. He further stated that the #EkitiGate brouhaha was being orchestrated ahead of the 2018 elections in the state.

He went on to blast Aluko and the All Progressives Congress (APC), enthusing that they lacked popular support on the rural areas of the state.

His words: “Who is beating, who is crying? He said he’s PDP scribe. Is he the one that is supposed to be crying or the APC is supposed to be crying?

“APC knows that they have come to the end of the road by the Supreme Court judgement. That’s why they are doing all that. And it’s all about the 2018 election. They should wait for their time. They should not be in a hurry. They should wait for that time. There is no issue, that time will come and God will give us life.

“The only game I know is politics, I am a professor in this game. Because they cannot touch this common people. They cannot go to buy akara where we are buying it. They cannot go to agbo jedi sector. They will be in Abuja shouting. How many of them do we know in Ekiti?”
