A 16-year old Ryan Magan was shot dead at his home in Jeannette, Pennsylvania by his classmate, Maxwell Morton, who’s also 16 on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
The deceased’s body was discovered by his mother in their home which she immediately alerted the attention of the police.
A search warrant was conducted following an alleged photographed selfie which was sent by Morton after the shooting to one of his friends.
The selfie which came with the message, ” Told you I cleaned up the shells” and “Ryan was not the last one” showed Magan sitting in a chair with a gun shot wound to his head with the alleged killer.
During the police search at Morton’s house, a 9mm gun was found and he confessed to using it to shoot the victim.
However, Morton has been charged with criminal homicide and murder in the first degree, in addition to one count possession of a gun by a minor.
