2015: No Vacancy Exists In Aso Rock – Governor Orji

Chairman of South-East Governors Forum and Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, on Sunday in Enugu, declared that no vacancy exist in Aso Rock in 2015, according to reports.

He made this disclosure during the 15th anniversary of Igbo Youth Movement where he was given an award of Excellence in Governance.

At the event, he reinstated  that the South-East governors were solidly behind President Jonathan’s re-election in 2015 adding that they were working very  hard to  ensure that all votes from the Southeast were channeled to him.

Orji further that President Goodluck Jonathan would remain the president of Nigeria until 2019, after which they would decide the next line of action.

He said, “The South-East governors have supported the President consistently. We will continue to support him. You know his wife is our own. He will rule until 2019. And after that, we decide where the presidency will go next.”

He also disclosed that Igbo people needed someone to continue from where the nationalist, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu stopped for Ndigbo.

Meanwhile, he expressed immense gratitude to the IYM for deeming him fit to receive such an award.
