Governorship candidates on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have started picking their running mates ahead of the 2023 general election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has set July 15, 2022 as the deadline for the ‘substitution’ of candidates.
Some serving state governors seeking reelection have dropped their deputy governors and picked new running mates.
