No fewer than three persons were feared killed and two others injured on Tuesday when supporters of the People Democratic Party, PDP and All Progressive Congress, APC clashed in Dadere, Obi local government area of Nasarawa state over the impeachment imbroglio in the state.
The crisis started when Hon. Sidi Bako, a member of the Nasarawa House of Assembly decided to visit his constituency and was allegedly attacked by supporters of the governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and the APC.
The Police Public Relation officer, ASP Numan Ismaila confirmed to our correspondent in Lafia that his men had recovered 3 dead bodies and one critically injured. He said that he has deployed officers to the area for full investigation.
