39 Boko Haram Fighters Killed By Cameroon Troops

The defence ministry of Cameroon had on Sunday, October 26, 2014 disclosed that about 39 fighters of the terrorist islamic sect known as Boko Haram had been killed by their troops in varied attacks in the north which had been under the insurgency of the dreaded sect.

Furthermore, the ministry revealed that a handful of the terrorists were killed together with about four civilians in three different attacks in the north by the Boko Haram fighters which took place on the night of Friday, October 224, 2014.

The attack targeted the village of Glawi, “killing four Nigerian refugees and wounding one Cameroonian, before being pushed back by defence forces which pursued them until the borders,” TVC  reports

A statement released by the ministry said, “Another two groups of Boko Haram Islamists entered Cameroon at around the same time, but were immediately intercepted and neutralised by our defence forces who destroyed three 4×4 vehicles equipped with machine guns, killing 27 assailants.”
