But deep down inside, the whole reason she’s talking about her ex so much is because she still has strong feelings for him.
2. She makes comparisons
She constantly compares every little detail of your current relationship with her past relationship and just can’t seem to enjoy the present romance you’re giving her.
3. She looks for ways to bump into her ex
She drags you to her ex’s favorite spots and she actually gets excited as soon as she “accidentally” bumps into him. She can’t stop talking about him and smiling to herself long after he says goodbye and leaves the area.
4. She openly reminisces about old love memories
She still has photos or other prominent mementos of her past relationship and you regularly catch her staring at them even though she claims she’s over him.
5. You catch her researching her ex online
If you have caught her regularly looking at her ex’s Facebook profile or attempting to Google him every now and then, she is still addicted to him and is hardly ready to move on.
If you are experiencing any of these signs early on in the relationship process, talk to your girlfriend about it. Tell her that her feelings for her ex are pushing both of you apart and if she really wants the relationship to work out with you, she needs to get her priorities straight.
