A 60-year-old man whose identity was not disclosed was on Friday, January 2, 2015 burnt to death in his home at the Aboru Area of Lagos State.
New Telegraph reports stated that the man had died before the arrival of the fire service rescue team at the scene.
The Director of Lagos State Fire Service, Mr Rasak Fadipe who confirmed the tragic occurrence disclosed that it happened at 21/ 23 Idowu Rafiu Street, Aboru, on the outskirts of Lagos.
He added that the agency responded to eight fire incidences on New Year’s day.
