As President Goodluck Jonathan covers the length of the country in continuation of his re-election rallies, Abia State has stated its readiness to give the President a rousing welcome, promising that the Abia rally which is to be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 will be the best so far.
The Abia State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Anthony Agbazuere, while speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 said: “This is going to be the mother of all rallies given that Mr. President is our in-law and has performed very well. Abia is happy with him.”
Agbazuere also commended President Jonathan for performing beyond expectations despite challenges which the commissioner made him “the most distracted president yet”, urging Nigerians to vote enmasse for Mr. President.
The Abia State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Geoffrey Ogbonna said the police was adequately prepared to secure lives and property as the president comes visiting.
