#SoundOff: APC Is At It Again: Every Falsehood Has An Expiry Date

Must read

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]here’s an offensive photo of a beheaded man being circulated online by mostly APC members as being of their member allegedly beheaded in Rivers State.

Nothing in the said photo indicates that the incident is either recent or happened in Rivers State. As such, one is constrained to say it is a propaganda material imported to do mischief against the people of Rivers State, the PDP and the person of Governor Wike, especially with the inclusion of his face in it, as we approach the rerun elections in the State.

We condemn the politicisation of ‘insecurity’ by the APC and encourage the security agencies to continue to do their best to safeguard lives and property in Nigeria in spite of the great criticism they have suffered especially under the hands of APC chieftains.

Most importantly, we call on the ruling APC to focus on combating the escalating insecurity and terrorism within the country, especially in the North East Zone rather than fanning the embers of discord against Rivers people and politicising cult-related crimes all in a bid to conquer Rivers State and emasculate our people.

The penchant of the APC to publicise and magnify falsehood as a political strategy is very well known to Nigerians. We have no doubts in our mind that Nigerians have seen through this strategy and will continue to give no attention to the misleading schemes of the APC.
