Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido has taken a swipe at the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), calling it a party of aggrieved former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members.

The Governor, who was speaking in Garki area of the state enthused that the PDP would win majority of the votes in all regions of the country, advising the populace to be mindful of politicians who promise the world but can not back their promises with action.

Governor Lamido, while describing the APC as a “small party and a creation of frustrated former PDP members” said the APC had no pedigree and nothing to show, adding that the opposition was no match for the PDP in Jigawa and would lose heavily in the Saturday, February 28, 2015 gubernatorial polls.
