APC Thugs Disrupt Edwin Clark’s Wife’s Rally In Abeokuta

Pandemonium broke out on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the Ogun State capital, Abeokuta when thugs, suspected to be loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) disrupted a rally for Dr. Bisola Sodipo-Clark, the Peoples Democratic Party senatorial candidate for Ogun Central senatorial district.

Sodipo-Clark, wife to elder statesman and PDP chieftain, Chief Edwin Clark was on a tour of her constituency when she and her loyalists were attacked in Sokori area of Abeokuta North.

Sodipo-Clark was lucky not to come under direct attack as her security details whisked her away before the thugs got to her, although some of her detail got injured.

The attack made PDP members who had come to welcome their leaders disperse as many of them were left injured and in need of medical attention.
