The Award Of Second-Hand Degrees In Cotonou (READ)

Must read

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s the Nigerian borders are closed against the importation of rice and second hand cars from Benin Republic, Nigerian students are now purchasing second hand degree certificate in Cotonou.

The Cotonou second hand degree holders are not trained in characters and learning. The importation of the certificate will do more harm in the public and private sectors than that of used cars.

In the last quarter of 2017, I traveled all along from Nigeria to the Benin Republic. Met Nigerians studying there and interacted with them. Many but few were not there to study. They are there to flex.

Many of them were expelled from Nigerian institutions for low academic performance and for other vices. They go to Benin and graduate with a very good class of degree.

Some of them go on transfer while others have National Diploma, they obtain a degree within 6 months period or thereabout.

The annoying part of it all is,  the schools have federal government recognition, the students serve and get absorbed in government parastatals with empty head.

When these graduates filled in public spaces,  they will turn the country to a sorry state, they lack requisite knowledge of impacting to the nation’s development.

I met one guy there from Zamfara State, he informed that he secures admission May 2017 and graduated September 2017 with second class upper. The guy had an ND. He’s mobilised and now serving.

With these developments, the future of our nation is in doom if drastic measures are not taken. I weep for Nigeria.
