Rose Esme is not your everyday new born baby girl. She was born with two fully formed incisors at University Hospital of Wales, Metro UK reports.
Her mother Chloe Pullen remarked that Rose, who was born on Friday, August 22, 2014 attracted the hospital staff who had never seen the phenomenon, which happens once in every three thousand births.
25-year old Chloe said: ‘‘I had a caesarean so I was under general anaesthetic but when I came round my husband told me our daughter had teeth. The midwives had never seen anything like it before. Everybody came to the ward to see her – you could tell it was rare.’’
Chloe, a fire control worker later discovered that her maternal grandmother also had a front teeth at birth and believes it is hereditary.
