Pop star, Beyonce Knowles, was on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 named the highest paid woman in music in 2014 by Forbes after her worth was said to be $115 million.
Few hours after attaining the feat, the 33-year-old wife of rap legend, Jay Z had decided to walk the talk true to her claims of being a longtime fan of Topshop’s designs by rocking a black sequin mini dress by the high street chain at the opening of the new flagship store in New York.
She looked quite amazing with a short sleeve frock that accentuated her long legs and toned physique together with her bob hairstyle.
The mother of Blue Ivy, styled her outfit with a sexy pair of black high heels and kept her accessories bare only opting for a rouge manicure.
Meanwhile, the founder of Topshop,Sir Phillip Green was also on the black carpet together with a host of other stars including Lionel Richie, Ciara, designer Tommy Hilfiger, Sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton and model siblings Cara and Poppy Delevingne.
The pop star in late October,2013, was said to be launching an active wear collection with Topshop.
On top of her successful music career, she formed a 50/50 joint venture company with the clothing label called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd and is expected to to release the debut assemblage in fall 2015, Daily Mail reports.
Beyonce Knowles in a press statement had revealed that she couldn’t have thought of a better partner to grow in her business.
Shesaid, ”I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking.”
