Islamist sect, Boko Haram has released a new video which shows the beheading of two men accused of spying on the group on behalf of the Nigerian police.
The 6-minute footage titled “Harvest of Spies” showed masked insurgents with long knives standing behind two men on their knees, identified as Dawoud Muhammad and Muhammad Awlu, both from Baga, a recently liberated town in Borno State.
“We went to see a man from Mijka and a police officer that was with him. The officer gave me N5,000 in exchange of spying those who live there,” Mohammed said before the beheading.
The video was posted to Twitter.
