One Direction set to head in different directions

Popular band, One Direction will cease to exist from March 2016 as the members of the group have decided to pursue solo careers for at least a year.

The group which is made up of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are reported to have held talks in London last week where they decided to embark on an extended hiatus.

It is reported that there is no bad blood between the boys who have been together for five years.

The decision is said to be a mutual one and the boys may reunite after a year of facing their solo projects. Earlier this year, Zayn Malik quit the group and now this.

One Direction will go ahead to release their 5th studio album but will not go on a promotional tour for the forthcoming compilation.
