SAD: 23-Year Old Bread Seller Raped, Murdered In Benin

A 23-year-old-woman, identified as Joy Okoh has been raped and murdered in Benin, Edo State reports the Vanguard.

The woman’s body was left in the trunk of a SUV at the Upper Mission Extension area in the Edo state capital.

The late Joy was a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park and was alleged to have just closed business for the day around 7.30p.m on Monday, June 8, 2015 when she was kidnapped.

The car was said to have been snatched by the gunmen, used for the heinous act and then abandoned.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Onwuchei confirmed the story, saying that investigations were ongoing on the matter.
