A government prosecutor in Paris has confirmed to the press that the mastermind of the deadly ISIS terrorist attacks in Paris has been killed in a police raid.
Abdelhamid Abaaoud, identified by French authorities as the mastermind behind the attacks that left 128 people dead and over 300 wounded has been confirmed by DNA testing to have died in a raid on a terrorist cell carried out on Wednesday.
In statement released to news media on Thursday, November 19, 2015, the Paris prosecutor’s office said that Abaaoud’s body was found in an apartment building in Saint-Denis, north of Paris during the police raid. He was identified based on skin samples.
