BREAKING: 2 Air Force Planes Crash In Abuja Surburb

Two planes belonging to Nigeria’s Air Force crashed in Abuja at about 11am on Friday, September 28, 2018.

An eye-witness who spoke to The Trent on condition of anonymity said, “I saw this happen live. They tried to pull a stunt of hovering over each other then one ran into the other.”

”I think one pilot was able to eject. I saw only one parachute,” the witness said.

The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that an “air incident” involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations.

“I wish confirm an air incident involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations,” Ibikunle Daramola, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Air Force told reporters on Friday, September 28, 2018.

”Details will be communicated later,” he promised.

Daily Trust first reported the crash of a plane in Mpape, a hilly area in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
