Buhari’s Anti-corruption Aide Resigns Over Examination Fraud (PICTURED)

Mrs. Benedicta Dauda, a member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s advisory committee on against corruption, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 reportedly stepped down after being accused of involvement in examination malpractice by the authorities of the University of Jos, Plateau State.

Premium Times reports that Dauda was allegedly caught cheating while writing an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Jos.

Mrs. Daudu is an associate professor of law and head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of the same university.

It was learnt that she voluntarily stepped down from the presidential committee until her matter is officially handled by the management of the university.

The secretary of the presidential committee, Bolaji Owasanoye, said the allegations against her have been discussed and she has voluntarily stepped down.

The associate professor, who has a Masters in Law, was working towards another master in research and public policy.

She was accused of sneaking into the examination hall of already prepared answers during the examination for the global context in public policy course.
