As Nigerians troop out to cast their votes in today’s general election, several celebrities and citizens have voiced concern over the non-arrival of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and electoral materials at polling units around the country.
Actor and fitness enthusiast Kate Henshaw, who spoke through her official Twitter handle on Saturday, February 25, 2023, lamented her inability to cast her vote due to the absence of INEC officials at her polling unit in Lekki, Lagos.

Nigeria holds federal elections today for the Presidency, Senate and Federal House of Representatives positions.
The presidential election is expected to be keenly contested between Labour Party’s Peter Obi, APC’s Bola Tinubu and PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, with a majority of Nigeria’s youth backing Obi’s candidacy.
