Proverbs 16:7 says, “When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” What’s it talking about: it means that God will put the fear of you in them; they will see that God is with you, and they will advise themselves that it is useless and dangerous to oppose you, so they will fearfully come for peace!
Some people are so worried about their enemies. Truth is that some of those enemies are imaginary ones! That’s not to say that there are no haters; of course there are, but who cares! Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His anointed. He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure!
Your focus should be on God alone, doing the things that are pleasing to Him. Don’t be bothered about enemies or frenemies at work or in your neighbourhood! God Himself will appear to them in their dreams and you will realize that suddenly all of them want to be your friends! Hallelujah!
