Spirit And Life Devotional: Restoration Through Obedience

Must read

Spirit and Life Devotional is a daily publication by Pastor Chinaemerem Ibezim, senior pastor of Able Ministers Chapel, a church based in Calabar, Cross River State.

“So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.” II Kings 5:14 NKJV

2 Chronicles 20:20 says, “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” There’s always a blessing that comes by obedience to the words of a man of God.

Divine restoration comes through obedience. The flesh of Naaman was restored, not when he heard the man of God speak but when he obeyed the instructions of the man of God. Obedience is the key to restoration.

1 Timothy 5:17 says, “Let the elders who perform the duties of their office well be considered doubly worthy of honor [and of adequate financial support], especially those who labor faithfully in preaching and teaching.” Now, here’s what I am asking you to do today: there are people in your life who have faithfully taught you the word of God, you know them; choose one or two of them and give them a worthy gift: do so especially if you need some form of restoration. God bless you.

Prophetic Declaration
Divine restoration is mine as I act on the word of God, in Jesus name.
