CNN’s Don Lemon Asks Bill Cosby’s Rape Accuser How She Used Her Mouth During Oral Sex (VIDEO)

Must read

Don Lemon, being a conservative, might be considered a fan of Bill Cosby. He has been one of the other black public figures who has embraced respectability politics into the conversation on race. Observers wondered what sort of questions Lemon might ask Cosby accuser Joan Tarshis about what happened on the night that she says that Cosby drugged and assaulted her.

The questions got pretty personal and possibly embarrassing for Tarshis. Another conversation with an accuser, Barbara Bowman, got into STDs, oral and the fact that she was admittedly high already on the night that it happened.  Read some of what was said during the conversation.

LEMON: Can I ask you this, because — and please, I don’t mean to be crude, OK?

TARSHIS: Yeah.

LEMON: Because I know some of you — and you said this last night, that he — you lied to him and said “I have an infection, and if you rape me, or if you do — if you have intercourse with me, then you will probably get it and give it to your wife.”

TARSHIS: Right.

LEMON: And you said he made you perform oral sex.

TARSHIS: Right.

LEMON: You — you know, there are ways not to perform oral sex if you didn’t want to do it.

TARSHIS: Oh. Um, I was kind of stoned at the time, and quite honestly, that didn’t even enter my mind. Now I wish it would have.

LEMON: Right. Meaning the using of the teeth, right?

TARSHIS: Yes, that’s what I’m thinking you’re –

LEMON: As a weapon.

TARSHIS: Yeah, I didn’t even think of it.

LEMON: Biting. So, um –

TARSHIS: Ouch.

LEMON: Yes. I had to ask. I mean, it is, yeah.

TARSHIS: Yes. No, it didn’t cross my mind.

You can watch the whole thing go down below. Most of the allegations against Cosby were from at least 30 years ago, and were public record for quite some time. Many of the cases were settled and prosecutors decided not to press charges. But after comedian Hannibal Burress brought the issue up again in a recent skit, the conversation began to resurface.
