The Edo State chapter of Coalition of Registered Political Parties, CRPP, has endorsed the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the forthcoming guber elections in the state.

The state’s co-ordinator of the CRPP, Samson Isibor issued a statement on Monday, September 12, 2016 saying the adoption of Pastor Ize-Iyamu was based on his pedigree as a former pastor, lawyer and administrator noting that he has more to offer the people of Edo State

“Pastor Ize-Iyamu apart from being a man of God is a focused leader. With his experience in government and the business world, he is the only person among those who are vying for the position that can deliver Edo State from the shackle of hunger and poverty,” Isibor said.
The candidate of Kowa Party in the state, Thompson Osadolor had dropped out of the race. He also threw his support to the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Ize-Iyamu.
