Cultists Abduct, Kill Kogi University Professor And Student (PHOTO)

Associate Professor Justice Olurotimi Otitolaye, a lecturer at the Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba was reportedly killed on Sunday, November 23, 2014 by suspected cult members in the institution after he was abducted on the night of Friday, November 21, 2014.

Vanguard reports that Otitolaye’s bullet-ridden body was found at Ejule area, about 8 kilometers from the university and has been deposited at the university teaching hospital.

Lecturers and students alike have expressed surprise over the news of Otitolaye’s death, condemning the high rate of killings in the school and urging the University management to make necessary moves to curb the trend.

In a related development, a 400 level Mathematical Science student of the KSU, Jimoh Faruk was on Saturday, November 22, 2014 killed by suspected cultists around the notorious Stadium Road.
